International Students

Welcome to Burlington! We hope you will have a good experience at UVM and good memories of your time in Vermont.

We are offering some assistance to new students who come from outside the United States. We can help in these ways:


  • Transportation from the airport, train or bus when you arrive.
  • Furniture to help set up your apartment or room in Burlington.
  • Assistance with shopping for needed items.
  • Possible help with ESL study, either conversational or written.
  • Sunday morning rides with other UVM students to a local church service.
